The EQCS (European Quality Control System) gathers quality control systems existing in Europe like QUALIJUS. It manages its actions in order to organise procedures.
Moreover, QUALIJUS signed an agreement in force since the 1st january 2000, with the international quality control system (SGF-IRMA), in charge of the control of raw material producers all over the world.
QUALIJUS aims:
- to promote fair trade in France
- to guarantee the Authenticity of fruit juices to consumers.
Way and means:
- controls of the labelling,
- analyses of the composition of fruit juices taken from the french market.
QUALIJUS ensure each member meet its commiments by the means of plant inspections and controls of the raw materials and the finished products in the plant.
Only companies getting the EQCS agreement are allowed to use the EQCS logo on the packaging.
